  2. Warning: (we never know) the Moovijob Tour " DeLux ", like Luxembourg, takes place in Luxembourg-city, in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, not at the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris. Yes, this confusion is made every year! Luxembourg-city is well served with a high speed trains (TGV) at the Luxembourg railstation, an international airport, but also buses, taxis and public bikes. LuxCongrès is located in the Kirchberg plateau, in the north-west of Luxembourg-city. If you come by train, you can take the bus lines 1, 13, 16 and the Eurobus and stop at the station: Philharmonie / Mudam. How to prepare for the career fair:
  1. We often hear this question: what is the point taking part to a job fair? Here are the reasons: you meet many recruiters and sometimes, companies you never heard about within a few hours, you put a face to a name, you gather information, and you can stand out, apply or train yourself for your next interviews. Tell yourself it's a first meeting. You are not going to have a real interview so find out what are the high flags and the job opportunities for these companies. After the fair, you will have to get back to the recruiters and be ready for an interview, who knows? (Back to the main menu)
  2. How to get ready for the Moovijob Tour DeLux? See our checklist here. (Back to the main menu)
  3. You always ask yourself in which language you should address your application in Luxembourg? Well, there are four official languages: French, English, Luxembourgish and German. Depending on the branch of a company, its clients, or its collaborators, the spoken language will change. To know the language of your application, check the language used for the job offers, if it is French, then write in French, in English, then in English. You need to check also the languages required, even if the job offer is in English, it may be asked to work in Italian, so show that you do speak this language. To know more about the job offers at the Moovijob Tour, check here the exhibitors list and the job offers section. (Back to the main menu)
  4. To know if the online job offers will still be available on the D-day at the job fair, we advise you to check if they are still online. (Back to the main menu)
How to approach exhibitors:
  1. Recruiters will often ask you to register on their career website. Why? Because it's easier for them to manage your application with their own software and your resume will be available on all time. They can back to you whenever they have an interesting opportunity.of management of applications than a paper CV. (Back to the main menu)
  2. Be careful about empty booths between 12:00 and 14:00. Recruiters might be having lunch! They meet hundreds candidates during the day, a short break will do a world of goods, don't you think? 😉 (Back to the main menu)
